After 40 years of horticultural experience, owning our own market garden, kiwifruit and avocado orchards, we are following our interest in natural health to benefit people in so many ways.
Our Executive Team
Over the past 6 years, Rob has forged new paths in the medical Cannabis arena with a particular focus on maintaining a strong dialogue with regulators, partners and community.
With more than 15 years senior management experience, his professionalism provides an important anchor for the quality and compliance of the New Zealand operation.
With experience in property investment and natural medicine, Hilary brings vital skills for ensuring that our New Zealand operations are integrated into and benefiting the communities they operate in.
Her role is also focused on shaping relevant educational outreach as laws and learning about medical Cannabis evolve.
Brock is a business professional and entrepreneur with 10 years of consulting experience evaluating operational efficiencies, scalability and strategies of healthcare companies.
As head of operations, Brock’s process management skills provide invaluable tools as MGP scales to meet local and global demand.
With more than three decades in the horticultural industry, Sean has spent the last 22 years managing large scale environmentally controlled greenhouse operations and parallel field operations.
His experience will be an essential part of maintaining the organically managed and uncompromising standards of our farming operation.
Dhara is an experienced operational leader with 10 years of consulting in the complex regulatory landscape of the United States healthcare system. Her ability to understand day-to-day needs while driving the bigger picture is paramount to the company’s success.
As head of MGP’s production, Dhara will establish internal processes and governance, along with ensuring the scalability of production and throughput to meet customer demand.
Jarrad has 6 years project and relationship management experience within the New Zealand and Australian energy sectors, and prior to this 10 years in Tokyo involved in industries as diverse as education, online services, and financial services.
Judy has held senior marketing management roles for a variety of NZ companies including Coca Cola, Schweppes, Schwarzkopf, McCann Erickson, HMV, TVNZ, Ansett NZ, Flight Centre, Air New Zealand, Auckland Transport and SKYCITY.
With a family background in horticulture and dairy farming, and a sales management career in wine in Australia, Cathi brings primary produce sales, marketing and management expertise to her new role at MGP. She also has valuable banking and finance experience.
At MGP she has a vital role helping to set up and manage MGP’s manufacturing and product development processes. This will include include helping to achieve GMP and GAP accreditation.
Jo is experienced in managing large export growing operations, from pruning and picking to quality control and distribution for apples, pears and kiwifruit. She is an expert in ‘Integrated Pest Management’ – using predator pests to eliminate unwanted pests.
Claude has a wealth of experience in cannabis genetics research, including with USA growers. He is responsible for new cultivar development, overseeing seed production, and managing a research programme on DNA sequencing.
Amy brings a wide variety of commercial experience across her past roles with Bond & Bond and Puma Darts, including personal assistant, receptionist, payroll, accounts, retail operations, sales, as well as IT and implementation of new systems and processes.
Here at MGP, Amy has also added HR responsibility to her Executive Management role, and her willingness to tackle new projects or problems will see her involved in many areas of the business.
