Chief Science Officer

The CSO will share the company Vision and ensure the technical team live and breathe the company Mission. The CSO is responsible for the delivery of the company’s R&D projects in line with the agreed business plan and strategy.

From the get go, the CSO will lead the design and operation of the company’s GMP certified cannabis extraction, manufacturing and laboratory facilities, building a team of talented, capable technical people to meet the company’s current and future needs, while continuously ensuring the effective and efficient deployment of company resources against R&D priorities.

Qualifications, skills & experience required:

  • PhD  (Bio-medical, Neuroscience or Organic Chemistry)
  • Minimum 3 years advanced medicinal cannabinoid research.
  • Experience in medicinal cannabis oil extraction, formulation and processing, i.e. post processing techniques, winterization, separation, isolation, product refinement, fractional distillation.
  • Proven experience & capability in medical product development, research (clinical trial level) and manufacturing.

Chief Financial Officer

We’re looking for an experienced candidate to oversee our company’s financial, administrative, and risk management factors as the Chief Financial Officer. In this role you’ll work alongside other members of the executive management team to determine an overall direction for the company.

You’ll be responsible for the financial and accounting activities including managing all accounts, creditors and debtors. You’ll keep a close watch on the company’s budget and expenses, and have the investigative skills to get to the root of any discrepancies. You’ll also prepare detailed financial reports and make clear recommendations to optimise the company’s financial position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develops tax and financial strategies
  • Oversees budgeting processes
  • Develops and analyses metrics that showcase the company’s performance
  • Work in co-operation with multiple disciplines, such as marketing, human resources, treasury, tax, and legal
  • Maintains relationships with key members of each team within the company
  • Examines employee benefits packages and looks for cost-effective benefits solutions

Production Technician

Here is an exciting opportunity to work within our Production Houses as part of a team that is vital to ensuring the production of our medicinal cannabis product consistently meets the highest standards.

Reporting to the Production Manager, in this role you’ll perform equipment setup, operation, equipment adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks to meet all standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll run tests on all assemblies and equipment used in the production process, incorporating product trimming, drying, and packaging.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Follow all regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Set up and operate production equipment and perform basic maintenance on machine.
  • Warehouse management & stock management (cycle counting), Inbound and outbound goods
